Easy and Healthy Breakfast Ideas for Big Family
Have you ever been told that “breakfast is the most important meal of the day”?
Just kidding, I am sure all of us get this statement several hundred times even before turning 20 😅
I remember as a kid, I did not like to have breakfast on weekdays, as we had to get up pretty early to get to school on time… Well, I am definitely not a morning person and I was just staring for long minutes at the jam and bread or whatever was prepared for us by my Mom…
Now as a Mom myself, I wake up earlier to have some quiet me time before the morning rush and be able to prepare breakfast… just to witness the same sleepy face of my Little One every single morning – not really willing to eat more than a few bites. 🙄 Can you relate to that?
So I decided to do some research on easy breakfast ideas, mainly using simple ingredients to make changes in our usual breakfast. It is also great to have some quick breakfast ideas when we have some other family members visiting us, and easy breakfast meals are needed to feed the entire family. Feeding big families can be challenging 😅
Why is Breakfast Important?
Well, as we have heard so many times, we tend to accept without any proof that breakfast is important.😁
But if you need some arguments to convince your sleepy family about it, you can check this article: according to this recent study among Japanese school children,
“Children and adolescents who regularly skip breakfast are at a greater risk of obesity than those who regularly eat breakfast.”
But I have one more reason, which is more valid on lazy weekends and holidays when there is not an early morning rush: it is such a great bonding activity to prepare a good breakfast together!
